I understand that you are having some trouble with the game, when online. We are going to do the best that we can to get this resolved for you!
To address this occurrence, you can try the troubleshooting steps below.
General Xbox One Troubleshooting

- Check the Xbox Live Status page to see if there are any planned maintenances or outages.
- Check the Bethesdsa Support twitter account to see if there are any planned maintenances or outages.
- Run a network connection test. Instructions on how to do so can be found here.
- If you are connected to the internet via wireless, try switching to a wired connection and see if there is any improvement.
- If there is another network available, try connecting to it instead and see if there is any improvement.
- Reboot your home network by turning off your modem and / or router.
- To ensure a hard reset, we recommend you unplug your modem's or router's power connections and wait a few minutes before plugging them back in and turning the device back on.
Open Xbox One Ports
----------------------
Open the following ports on your router to ensure you have a good connection:
- TCP: 80
- TCP: 443
- UDP and TCP: 3478
- UDP and TCP: 3479
- UDP: 3480
Change Xbox One DNS Settings
----------------------
In some cases, changing your DNS settings on your console can help players access the Mods menu.
- Navigate to the left of the Home screen and select Settings.
- Select All Settingsand thenNetwork
- Select NetworkSettings, AdvancedSettings, and finally DNSSettings.
- Note the current DNS settings (this will allow you to restore the original settings if there is no improvement).
- Change the DNS to Google's by setting it to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.

Clear Reserved Space

In some cases, clearing the game's reserve space can resolve some issues.
- Press the [Xbox] button to return Home.
- On the Dashboard Home screen, scroll right and select the My Games & Apps menu.
- In the "Games" category, highlight the Fallout 4 or Skyrim Special Edition app.
- Press the Menu [Start] button and select the "Manage Game" option.
- Navigate to the right where the Saved Data list is and highlight Reserved Space.
- Press the Menu [Start] button and select the Clear reserved space option.
- If the reserved space fails to clear, hard reset the console and retry steps 1-6
